Prices:

Tours of about 1 hour are possible without reservations for individuals or groups of up to 8 guests.
They are on a donation base (meaning: contribute what feels right to you!)

The guides are SINA Scholars and will explain what Social Innovation means to them, their personal stories, the projects they are working on and all the different Social Innovations and Social Enterprises which are currently being incubated and some of the alumni social enterprises which successfully left SINA.

Activities:

Lunch: please get in touch at least 24h in advance, and we can prepare lunch for you

Conference Facilities, Workshop Space: we can host up to 300 people for events in our main hall or 100 in bamboo open space. Reach out for more details.

Workshops:
Workshops are ideal for larger groups of 10+ and school/ university students. Options include and can be combined:

Plastic Bottle Construction:
A practical workshop where participants are taken through the upcycling plastic bottle technology and get their hands dirty by doing the actual construction work (it is exciting and one of our highly recommended activities!) 

A question-and-answer plenary session
where participants can sit with SINA scholars, coaches, and mentors to have their questions about social innovation answered and integrated into the whole experience.

Production of upcycled accessories
necklaces, earrings and jewellery and crafts from paper beads and other waste materials, as well as the “bark cloth”, the human’s first kind of cloth made from the bark of a tree originating from Mpigi District, Uganda.

Traditional Ugandan Cooking lessons
with SINA scholars, preparing Matooke (plantain bananas), Posho, G-Nut sauce, etc.

Fun, challenging and practical team-building activities
testing your team/ group in collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving and allowing you to draw valuable lessons through our debriefs in:
– Communication
– Delegation
– Innovation
– Efficiency

Joining an ongoing session
with our scholars on “unlearning limiting believes” or, upon request, any specific sessions on:
– Self-organization and Holacracy
– Life-Coaching
– Idea generation
– Design Thinking and turning an idea into a social enterprise
– How to finance your idea to get started
– Nonviolent Communication and Conflict Resolution
– …


There is also the possibility of joining SINA full-time for three months in our Purpose Safari and Applied Social Innovation Program.

All the above activities are suitable for individuals (from young to old) or groups of up to 60 people.

1/2 day activities (initial tour + up to two of the above options) are USD 15 per participant

OUR OFFER:
Full-day activities, including lunch (and as many of the above activities as you wish)
for USD 25 per participant (with a minimum of 4). Larger group discounts are available.

ALL FEES CONTRIBUTE DIRECTLY AND 100% to our NGO and allow us to support further marginalized youth to create their social enterprises (like some of the above).

We can prepare lunch upon request (ranging between 2 USD to 10 USD, depending on the needs and wishes) or full board at 15 USD per person with breakfast, 2x break tea/coffee with snacks, lunch, dinner, fruits and unlimited water.

We also have a shop where all products produced by any SINA social enterprises can be procured, as well as simple snacks, drinks and necessities.
